The  downtown Windsor Tunnel has been used to transport cars & buses since 1930



No trucks though. The Bridge is absolutely essential to move goods

It wasn't. City of Windsor opened the Ambassador  quite well



Proving cities had all the powers they need .. at least those who vae the balls to use them & just Do EET

the semi-trucks can use the blue water bridge which isnt that far away in the scheme of things.

Road miles wise it is a big deal + traveling south (most all) would have to go though Detroit traffic & clog Detroit

(Ambassador route avoids all that)



Breaker is that Bluewater in Sarnia has much smaller capacity to clear vehicles at border - and there are not direct or 4 lane highways to get to Sarnia (Bluewater Bridge) .. it's a long slow haul



Why is it an issue? It's long over. It was ended quickly
