The results of a recent survey conducted by the Public Opinion Strategies group show that a majority of Americans agree with Florida's recently approved law that's been mislabeled "Don't Say Gay" by activist critics.

Overall, the results show that 61 percent of voters believe it's inappropriate to include discussions about sexual orientation and gender identity within classrooms ranging from kindergarten to the third grade, and only 26 percent oppose the exacts of the legislation.

And among middle class families, the number is probably much higher than sixty one per cent.

Also, most American schools do not include sex ed in K - 3.  It varies from state to state, but most don't include sex ed in the curriculum until high school.  Some in middle school.  In some states parents must opt in to allow their children to attend such instruction.

Although sex ed is not currently occurring in K - 3 schools, states certainly have the right to codify that.  Seems to protect parent choice for future.

"21 prohibiting classroom

22 discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity

in certain grade levels or in a specified manner"

The word 'discussion' there may be what has some ppl triggered.  :)

Further text defines;

"97 3. Classroom instruction by school personnel or third

98 parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur

99 in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-

appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students"

Age appropriate instruction is a fundamental tenet of education.

I thought sex ed for kindergarten to grade three was extremely rare..

I agree that "age appropriate instruction is a fundamental tenet of education."

There are age restrictions on fucking toys -- board games etc etc

but you cannot place a restriction on teaching children about sex? A subject, which first of all, should never be tackled by a stranger (especially without a parent's consent) and second of all couldn't possibly be fully understood by such a fragile mind to begin with

Jim Crow Joe's administration will soon take action to overhaul federal civil rights laws and enact a new regime of Title IX rules for college athletics, according to a report.

The U.S. Department of Education is writing new rules that would make discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity illegal under Title IX, a 1972 law that bans sex discrimination in education, the Washington Post reports.

In other words, it would be illegal for states prohibit gender-dysphoric male athletes who present as female from competing against women in college athletics. Schools that receive federal funding must permit transgender athletes to compete according to their self-identified gender or risk losing those funds.

Speaking of Florida, watch Louisiana Senator John Kennedy slam progs for lying about Florida's anti-grooming law:

"I don't believe anybody should be discriminated against because of an immutable characteristic, but this has nothing to do with gender dysphoria."

The rights of women and gays are not as important as men pretending to be women to steal athletic competitions.
gay, conservative and proud
