Given the recent revelations about jews in the US, is it safe to assume that much of the public may have started to realise that Hitler wasn't the monster which the jewish historians and press have painted him as?



I think an open, honest, uncensored inquiry into the "Holocaust" is long overdue....

i'm not a holocaust denier.... but i am a holocaust skeptic and minimizer....

My opinion on Hitler....I definately view him as a monster.



 But i understand that he was out for the betterment and defense of Germany.  



 I ultimately conclude that any powerful people who have authoritarian stances, like socialists (who never start off seeing themselves as authoritarian....they really become convinced that its moral and fair and right) corrupt easily and become so set on their mission they become murderous.  And that was Hitler.



 His manipulation of the church to help step into power was terrible. But then the church should know better.



 I do think we have spent an abnormal amount of time and focus exclusively on the holocaust and Hitler being a demon to the exclusion of the communists...who caused the death of far MORE innocent people. And Hitler was acting in defense of that. I dont approve of how he handled it....so I'm not sympathetic.



 I'm just pointing out that much like the US Civil War....the realities of it are more nuanced and complicated than its presented to us. And if you address that with some they lash out as if you are in approval of it. These matters are often deeper.



 And the truth being avoided and the topic being simplified pretty well guarantees we learn nothing. We don't learn the lesson. So we are seeing the same old fall into totalitarian thinking that was present back then.



 I've heard some say the nazis actually won...they moved to the US.  And I dont mean the empty "ur a nahzi!" the left likes to shriek at their opposition. I mean actual nazis came here and started getting involved in our institutions. Not sure what I think of that.

I thought my roots were just English, but I found out on a Genealogy site I am Anglo Saxon. From Germans who moved to England in the middle ages.

Look what Hitler did - he took a broken, beaten down and bankrupt country and in a few short years turned it into an economic superpower. Before the war quite a few countries were praising him and there were even nazi associations forming in the US.



I do believe the holocaust happened but not because of Hitler. He wanted to give Madagascar to the jewish people (which would have been a vast improvement over what they ended up with) but he became embroiled in the war and didn't have time to handle it. He left it to his henchmen and they were the ones that came up with the final solution. In hindsight if they had simply shipped them off as Hitler wanted it would have freed up a lot of resources which could have then been put towards the war effort and may have changed the outcome.
