We actually have two prime ministers. Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the New Democratic Party is propping up Justine's minority government. Both of them would rather see Canada tank than do the right thing by Canadians and get them back on the frickin job.

Law enforcement launched an intense manhunt for an Arizona man who allegedly threatened to assassinate former President Donald Trump during his Thursday visit to the southern border.

Arizona authorities are hunting down Ronald Lee Syrvud — a convicted sex offender — regarding several outstanding warrants and alleged threats of killing Trump during the former president's visit to the southern border in Cochise County, according to the Daily Mail.

Law enforcement said Syrvud is a resident of Benson — roughly 50 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border and 50 miles southeast of Tucson, Arizona.

The Cochise County Sheriff's Office described Syrud as a 66-year-old white male who wears eyeglasses, stands 6 feet tall, and weighs 220 pounds.

A ballot measure to give Oregon residents a $1,600 tax rebate faces bipartisan opposition.

Oregon Rebate, or Measure 118, proposes taxing corporations more to redistribute money to residents.

Democrats and Republicans alike say it would hurt the state economy.

Due to Durov's arrest, the UAE froze the contract for the purchase of fighter jets from France

After being detained in Paris Telegram founder Pavel Durov The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is considering the possibility of a complete blockade of military-technical cooperation with France. This is reported by the portal Avia.pro with reference to the media.

The media also report that after Durov's arrest, the UAE has already frozen the implementation of the contract for the purchase of 80 fighters from France, the portal notes.

Recall that Durov is, among other things, a citizen of the UAE.

As reported by EADaily, the Foreign Ministry of the United Arab Emirates called on France to provide Pavel Durov, detained in Paris, as a citizen of the UAE, with access to all necessary consular services, the Emirati Foreign Ministry said in a statement published by the WAM agency.

Close your eyes and picture Ireland. You're probably imagining lush green fields, charming villages, and thatched cottages. Now, open your eyes and acknowledge reality.

Nearly one in five people living in Ireland wasn't born there. In Galway, Muhammad recently surpassed Michael and Martin as the most popular name for newborn boys. That's right, Muhammad, a name synonymous with Islamic tradition. This is not the Ireland you know or thought you knew. It's a country in the midst of a radical transformation.

Bank employee found dead in her cubicle 4 days after last clocking in

A Wells Fargo employee in Arizona was discovered dead in her cubicle last week, four days after she was last seen clocking into the office, officials said.

Security at the Wells Fargo branch located in the 1100 block of West Washington Street contacted the Tempe Police Department after 60-year-old Denise Prudhomme was found dead in her cubicle on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Prudhomme had last scanned into work on Friday, Aug. 16, at around 7 a.m. and never checked out.

Police reported that Prudhomme was found on the third floor of the building, in a cubicle that was not in a main walkway, and there were no immediate signs of foul play. The Maricopa County Medical Examiner has yet to determine the cause of her death.

An anonymous employee told KPNX that coworkers had noticed a foul odor but assumed it was related to a plumbing issue. Prudhomme's body was eventually discovered by another employee passing by.

Hunter Biden pleaded guilty in his federal tax case on Sept. 5, a surprise move that allows him to avoid a trial. The change of plea came hours before jury selection was set to begin and ahead of his sentencing in a separate case in Delaware.

The choice to plead guilty to misdemeanor and felony charges came without a plea deal, which typically includes benefits such as dropped charges.

That puts him in line for a pardon from his dad before he leaves office.
