Elon Musk may be a tech billionaire who's trying to colonize Mars, but his political views are reminiscent of the common, hardworking American on Earth.

Brazilian authorities worked Saturday to piece together what exactly caused the plane crash in Sao Paulo state the previous day that killed all 62 people on board.

Local airline Voepass' plane, an ATR 72 twin-engine turboprop, was headed for Sao Paulo's international airport in Guarulhos with 58 passengers and 4 crew members, when it went down in the city of Vinhedo.

If DEI is supposed to be great, why do libtards get pissed off when someone is called a DEI hire?

Because it hurts the feelings of the DEI hires to point out that they weren't hired because they deserved the job, but because they had the "correct" melanin content in their skin or have the proper genitalia to check off a box in the DEI list.

But, getting a job because they checkn those boxes is what DEI is. They can't say DEI is great and then cry when folks point out they got hired because of DEI.

Paramount Television Studios Is Shutting Down Amid Massive Cuts

Following a tumultuous year of layoffs and an ongoing merger, Paramount Television Studios is now shutting down.

Today, Paramount Television Studios President Nicole Clemens announced that the division will shut down by the end of the week via a memo sent to employees, according to Deadline. The decision comes just days after Paramount announced that it would lay off 15 percent of its employees in the U.S.

According to another memo sent by CBS CEO and Paramount Global Co-CEO George Cheeks, the decision was not based on performance and instead was "the result of significant changes in the TV and streaming marketplace and the need to streamline our company."   (yeah right)

Cheeks also announced that all current PTVS series and projects in development, including Cross, Before, and Murderbot, are moving to CBS Studios. It is still unclear if any employees are being folded into CBS as well or if all are simply being laid off.

Disney argues wrongful death suit should be tossed because plaintiff signed up for a Disney+ trial

Does signing up for Disney's popular streaming service mean you have agreed to never sue the entertainment giant over anything forever?

That is what Disney argues in a wrongful death lawsuit involving a 42-year-old New York doctor whose family claims had a fatal allergic reaction after eating at an Irish pub in Disney Springs in October.

Disney is asking a Florida court to dismiss a lawsuit brought by Jeffrey Piccolo, the husband of Kanokporn Tangsuan, a family medicine specialist with NYU Langone's office in Carle Place, on Long Island. The company argues Piccolo had agreed to settle any lawsuits against Disney out of court through the arbitration process when he signed up for a one-month trial of Disney+ in 2019 and acknowledged that he had reviewed the fine print.

"The Terms of Use, which were provided with the Subscriber Agreement, include a binding arbitration clause," the company wrote in its motion. "The first page of the Subscriber Agreement states, in all capital letters, that 'any dispute between You and Us, Except for Small Claims, is subject to a class action waiver and must be resolved by individual binding arbitration'."

Piccolo's lawsuit, which was filed in February, claims that he, his wife and his mother ate at the Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs, an outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment complex at Disney World, on Oct. 5, 2023.

After informing their server numerous times that she had a severe allergy to nuts and dairy products and required "allergen-free food," Tangsuan ordered the vegan fritter, scallops, onion rings and a vegan shepherd's pie. The waiter then "guaranteed" that the food was allergen-free even though some of the items were not served with "allergen free flags," the lawsuit states.

About 45 minutes after finishing their dinner, Tangsuan had difficulty breathing while out shopping, collapsed and eventually died at the hospital, despite self-administering an EpiPen during the allergic reaction, according to the lawsuit.

A medical examiner's investigation determined later she died as a result of "anaphylaxis due to elevated levels of dairy and nut in her system," the lawsuit said.

Speculation that President Joe Biden experienced a medical emergency in Nevada before he stepped down from his 2024 re-election campaign has since been confirmed, after newly released call logs from a Freedom of Information Act request indicate it was all true.

According to the call logs, police cleared the roads from near the MGM Grand to Lindo Michoacan, to bring Biden to the airport following reports that he was code "421" — which means sick or injured.

"Right now POTUS is 421," a Las Vegas Metro Police officer radioed in. "We're just trying to figure out what's going on, and we're going to go from there."

Immediately following the incident, Democrats claimed the speculation was not true and that he had a mild case of COVID.

The Taliban took to the streets of Kabul Wednesday to celebrate the third anniversary of the Biden-Harris administration's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Adding insult to injury, the Islamic extremists paraded around the former U.S. Bagram Air Base with the expensive U.S. weaponry and vehicles that were abandoned along with American citizens during the rushed exit — an exit Kamala Harris once boasted cosigning and President Joe Biden deemed an "extraordinary success."

Attend university, gain a degree, get a job – for years, this has been the path many students have followed.

But Gen Z is shaking things up and many teenagers are looking at taking alternative routes into their dream careers.

The number of 18-year-olds applying for university this year fell to 41.3%, which is the lowest level since before the pandemic. A total of 316,850 18-year-olds applied by the equal consideration deadline in January, according to Ucas.

That path is now a dead end.

A better idea is go to trade school and be a plumber, electrician, HVAC tech, diesel mechanic or whatever. Only takes a year or so, you make buttloads of money, your job is always in demand, and it can't be outsourced to China.

It takes four years to become journeyman certified. But apprentices get paid instead of paying tuition.
