I had to look up Burlap...

Hessian cloth, sometimes called "Burlap" is a natural woven fabric from the jute plant.

Yes, that area is huge.... what trees are they?

In that area are the remainder of apple trees from when this area was an apple orchard.  They still produce, but not always reliably.  Two cherry trees, birch trees, maple tree, and two 'I don't even know what the hell those are' trees...

I still say old Mel should bag himself one of them big birds and roast it up. That is assuming he is a fan of turkey.

I like Turkey, but from the descriptions given by others, I may prefer the store bought stuff that I'm used to...

Yep.  Burlap, jute, same thing.  It's an old trick used to keep animals off newly planted stuff like grass.  It also helps to hold in the moisture.

You have to feed them veggies like I said to get rid of the game taste... and should only eat the youngest.... not the old ones..

But see, I would love to have them in my garden but my husband would freak out.... we have chickens... 3 of them. They keep my backyard weed free... my garden is the front yard.which faces north east...

Almost all turkeys sold in stores since about the 1960's are Broad Breasted Whites. They are the turkey equivalent of cornish cross chickens. A fast growing commercial breed with lots of breast meat.

Wild turkey are very similar to domestic breeds like Royal Palm and especially Standard Bronze. They have less breast meat. and more meat on the legs for foraging. But, if you make three white meat turkey sandwiches- one with white Broad Breasted White, another with Standard Bronze and another with wild turkey, you would not be able to tell the difference between the three of them.

Here they are, destroying the spots I'm trying to level out as we speak.  I must fix it back up, seed, and burlap it today.  I can chase these fucking things away, but they keep coming back...

Surprisingly non-gunpowder weapons dont require a license in here.

You only have to be 18 years old.

Most of the air-rifles have muzzle velocity around 1000 fps.

6,35mm pellet... Its pretty big for an air-rifle.

Here, any air rifle in .22 caliber requires a 3 day waiting period and I think a FOID card too. Its fucking bullshit.
