I used the word welfare for its common use... the first part of your post I totally agree with... it's still welfare though.

Second part of your post we refer to as dole bludgers and of course that is frowned upon and these days much rarer than previously. There are less dole bludger now than say the 1980s.

I think you get it... a strong social security system is very important.

What scares the hell out of me is socialists push to dump a million refugees on us over the next year.. We've paid into Medicare for 50 years. I hardly had to use it being fairly healthy... but when these refugees come in, they'll strain our system. What they do in Australia is there is a certain length of time you are allowed to find a job on your own and if you can't then you have to go to some job seeker place (I can't remember the name, maybe it's a job agency) then you actively have to show your job seeking efforts...  but you are not cut off the dole unless you miss appointments... then they stop payments.

If you are female and unmarried and keep pumping out kids that is the new dole bludger imo.

I know a girl that has 5 children to two different guys, does not own a home and I think to myself... what would happen if she lost her defacto husband and she becomes homeless with 5 kids?...

Yes, well Caskur is wholly unfamiliar with that kind of system. She is an Australian. Australians by and large are a bunch of libtarded sheep who are forever looking to their government to solve their problems for them and bitching about it when they don't. Australia is a welfare state, it is a welfare basket case.

And successive Australian governments like that arrangement just fine and have a long and storied history dating back to colonial times of squashing any opposition to their hegemony. A lot of this is driven by their unelected Deep State which has in previous times acted in concert with foreign agencies to order the affairs of Australians without their knowledge. A dumb and ignorant bunch of sheeple are much more easily taxed and managed; indeed they will bleat for more of their liberties to be ceded to the power structure (Caskur is a shining example of this).

Take for example the invasion of Norfolk Island in 2016. A self governing external territory of Australia, Norfolk Island had (among other things) an attitude towards welfare that you espoused above - they relied on their church and family. A society unencumbered with the necessity to pay more than they can afford to some appointed administrator would figure it out. Norfolk Island was proof of that; that's why they needed their culture destroyed.
