I don't think there can be any doubt that the Democrats knew what would happen last night. They needed Biden to be himself so they can rally the billionaires that own that party to force Biden out.

So what day do you think he bounces?

I'm going to bet that he doesn't.

Americans would believe he was stepping down because he was ordered to do so. They would interpret that as democrats having no loyalty to anything except their own lust for power and also being an admission that putting Joe in there was a mistake in the first place. It could swing a lot of votes for Trump and the dems know that.

I think they're going to ride it out with Joe just to try and get the next four years in their pocket and then decide what to do later.

i don't have a date but i'm willing to bet that after the debates and probably a split-second before voting starts, joe "dies suddenly".... either "peacefully in his sleep" or killed by an "unhinged maga republican" with blm posters and gay pride flags in his basement....

People, you seem to forget who calls the shots in the party, the big money donors.  Do you truly, honestly, deep-in-your-soul believe that they will continue to sink millions into this unmitigated disaster?  Watch news stories pop up in the next few days of well known donors bailing out.

you are making one critical miscalculation in your assessment.

that these evil cunts actually care what Americans believe. They are confident their loyalist base is dumb enough to believe whatever they put for and the other side is too cowardly to do something substantial about it.

they are so shameless at this point they will just about do anything in an abrupt and in your face manner and tell you that you are a (fill in the blank) if you believe what your own eyes are seeing in front of you.

Yeah yer right.

I think the Democrats will be forced to pull the plug on Biden even if they think the Democrats will lose.

Because they need to have a respectable finish to at least save face. Even if they lose but another challenger can make it close they'll be able to at least hold their own in these congressional races.

But hanging onto Biden will be a  disaster.

Kamaltoe is the problem. I think they'll have to replace Biden.

Big money donors aren't generally in the game to join cults of personality... they're not buying one person. They're ingratiating themselves with *the party* and its network by donating to specific individuals or PACs.

And when you've got that much money to just throw around you can afford to appear as if you've backed a loser here and there. Particular races don't usually matter, ultimately; its the deeper ties and exchanges of favors that are important.

And Biden has already sewn up the nomination if he wants it. He doesn't *need* to spend money on anything but the general election. A few more gala events with celebrities and Obama etc. will see him through. After all, he is the sitting president and that means he can get free press basically any time he wants it, especially from the DNC-aligned corporate media and shitlib "alternative" media.

And once it becomes a hardened fact that Biden won't step down enough anti-Trump donors will come crawling back to allow Biden to stay in play, from a financial perspective at least.

I'll be surprised if Biden gets replaced.
He will at least try to stay in the race no matter what the likely repercussions.

He's that kind of fuckhead, and so are the people closest to him.
