On Thursday, Fox News senior correspondent Peter Doocy confronted White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre over a card with talking points that is being distributed to Democrats on Capitol Hill.

That card claims Harris was never "border czar," insists a "border czar" position never existed, and claims Republicans "invented" the title. She was tasked only with combating the "root causes" of migration from a small group of Central American nations, the talking points claim.

And of course: The card insists that Harris succeeded at her job, whatever it actually was.

The question, of course, hits at the heart of the issue. Even if Harris was only in charge of the "root causes" of the migration crisis, it's clear she failed at her job because the border crisis has been a significant problem for the entirety of the Biden presidency.

Every day Kopmala reminds me more of Hillary Clinton:

She got where she is by a combination of leveraging associations with people already in politics and having the establishment promote/elevate her. The more she's in the public eye the more people remember how much they don't really like her very much; she's prone to blithely saying and doing tone-deaf things that erode her favorability. And finally the corporate media bends over backward to polish her record and spin her narrative in a favorable light even if that means telling blatant lies.

She's a construct; an artificial persona so flimsy that it falls off under the mildest critical scrutiny.

With any luck she'll fail as miserably as Clinton did at claiming the big chair.

She's only going to fail if level headed people such as yourself can hold your nose and vote what you perceive as  the lesser of two evils.

I can understand your disdain towards Trump and the duopoly that limits your choice to bad or worse. But at the very least bad staves off worse consequences for a few years and we might just get this whole Ukraine Ponzi scheme which is inching us closer to nuclear holocaust put to rest in the process.

I get what you're saying and in a perfect world it *would* be that easy but for so many reasons I'd need to start a blog and do nothing but post to it for a year to list them all I can't vote duopoly, especially in presidential contests.

That's not even new:
I've never cast a presidential vote for a democrat or a republican.

It's not a protest or a thumb in the eye of the major parties... at least not primarily although if those are knock-on effects I'm okay with that. As I see the situation it's literally the only way available to me within this system to take proactive electoral action.

I don't know if we'll ever achieve a post-duopoly electoral reality but I have to act as if it's at least possible or I'd just be another hypocrite saying one thing and doing another.
