I would love to make my own some day, but the best frozen ones I have found are by Alexia. That brand has good sweet potato fries too

I make my own using a fish batter I buy from Canadian Tire and of course a fresh Spanish onion.

Fish batter from a tire place?

Dont know if I've even seen a Spanish onion, I'll check at the grocer next time I go.

Do you deep fry them, fry, or bake? Do you dip them in milk or anything before the breading?

I have some fish breader called House Autry I use for fish.

I slice the Spanish onion rings dip them in an egg-milk mixture, then the batter and into the pan for frying.

I havent done an egg-milk mixture in a long time, maybe I should to see how certain things turn out now lol. Normally I just dip in milk, then the dry breading, then let sit for about 10-15 minutes to let it bind.
