Leave that hot shit for the beaners!  When I spent some time trucking through So-Cal (beanerville), I almost burned my asshole out trying to taste some 'authentic cuisine' from time to time.

It's just not worth it!

OMG now I wanna try it!!!  :pop:

I love heat too, never done the ghost pepper though. The 2 hottest sauces I ever had, was The Ass Reaper, and Hot as Shit Hot Sauce.

Hot as Shit came with a toilet shaped lip balm lol. One drop is all it would take on a chicken nugget. My sons friend thought he would eat a teaspoon of it, it almost killed him lolol (not literally). He was puking, and guzzling milk, and tears streaming down his face
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

We went to a Malaysian/Thai restaurant yesterday. I had a curried veggie plate with peanut sauce and two veggie rolls. It was excellent.

We had a couple from the Philippines out to the farm on Saturday. They brought chicken kalderita(spelling). It was damned tasty.

I've had different Filipino foods, but I don't think I've tried that.

Kaldereta or caldereta is a goat meat stew from the Philippines. Variations of the dish use beef, chicken or pork.

Commonly, the goat meat is stewed with vegetables and a liver paste. Vegetables may include tomatoes, potatoes, olives, bell peppers and hot peppers; kaldereta sometimes includes tomato sauce.

Caldereta's name derives from the Spanish word caldera meaning cauldron. The dish is similar to meat stews from the Iberian peninsula and was brought to the Philippines by the Spanish during their 300-year occupation of the Philippines.

Kaldereta is served at special occasions, parties and festivities.
