China has never invaded another sovereign nation. China has largely stayed within its own borders for its entire history. China is fully aware that their future is not about military intervention, but economic development.



Their condolence message to Singapore is telling...



"Mr Lee Kuan Yew had worked together with the pioneering generation of Chinese leaders in opening the gate for the friendly cooperation between China and Singapore," said Mr Li in a message posted on the website of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. "His contributions to the China-Singapore relationship and China's reform and opening up will surely be marked by history."



One of his cornerstones for economic development is to be on friendly terms with everyone, and to open the doors to foreign investment and relations.



China has followed the Singapore social, economic and bilateral relationship model almost precisely.

Accepting climate change and lowering emissions is the official policy for all oil companies.

Of course they would declare to the world that they accept global warming...yada yada yada...and that they are committed to "sustainability" yada yada yada...BP/Shell/Mobil CARES, see.



So, make sure you buy THEIR petrol when filling up your gas guzzling all terrain environment killer so you can pick up the kids from school 400 metres away.

Naive about what? I'm just saying it's their policy. I'm not saying they actually really care about sustainability or want people to use less oil.



I think it's funny how the oil companies officially agree with proponents of man-made climate change.

I am saying they will promote their "sustainability" principles as a marketing tool; no more.
