My sister was called to rescue Loretta Lynn. She was a Canadian Wild gosling that was left behind by its family as they crossed a busy street. Loretta had a limp. Poor thing. My sister helped put a stint on Loretta's limp leg and then took her to a wildlife habitat because she could not keep her. She fought the temptation to talk to Loretta further because goslings tend to get attached. Days later, Loretta did not survive. She was still too young to be left alone. We were heartbroken.
