Margaret Wente, consservative columnist for the Globe and Mail, thinks so:

"Women are allergic to conflict. When we clash with someone, we turn it over and over in our minds, and brood on it forever. I remember everyone who was unfair or hurtful to me, back to kindergarten when Blanny Higgins pulled my hair.

Men just let it go. They can get furiously angry with each other, and two weeks later they're the best of friends. Women would be better off if we didn't take stuff so personally."

I'm not reading that. The quote was enough to underpin the thoughts of a weakling.

I wish I didn't brood over things but I find guys hold grudges and will easily just write each other off forever.

Not sure - have not made observations on it, but interested in hearing from those who have

Could be more so in one direction, but  each person m, f, or otherwise is their own individual

I just have noticed it more with men than women but it is probably more individual.

Women are far more likely to discuss and deal with issues and conflict....I've seen men brood worse than any female on her worst day.

I like to discuss things, yes. I want to avoid communication breakdown if at all possible but if that does not work, I'm also known for resorting to silence. If you want me to care, you don't want me silent. :MG_216:

I think it's sad that as women we just can't be women.  Someone is always telling us how to be or not to be.  We get labelled crazy for doing what women do.  We're told to act more like men.  It's bullshit.

What ever they say, I don't listen anyway. I do what I want.

Pretty much. My grandma always wanted me to be more "lady like".  Too bad for her because I was very curious and was always in the mud, full of bruises and playing rough. You couldn't get me to play "beauty shop" longer than 2 minutes but I was hunting garden snakes and setting up make shift "vet hospitals" all day long. When I was 10, I made 50 bucks selling my rabbits shit door to door as fertilzer. Haha.  I've just never been a princessy kind of girl. But I'm not going to let anyone make me feel "less than" a woman because I don't fit a social construct on what makes one female. I'm just as psycho as any woman.
