Of course you would claim your political correctness isn't political correctness!

But it is. The definition of political correctness is being so easily offended over one measly word. Even if you're so easily offended by some measly word because of... hmm... personal reasons, perhaps?

"Political"? WTF?

You really don't get the NOT subtle difference between "political correctness" and simple  "human decency / respect".

WTF does ""Political" have to do with a totally apolitical issue?

I'm truly amazed you would even "try" to put  2  virtual opposites together as though they were one,

then my greatest failing has always been to give humans more credit than they deserve

Please tell us you are just joshin us!!

I do know what he represents so I'm still laffin @ Noam as a purported meaningfull  reference for ANYTHING

You have to be kidding about Chomsky cc. Not liking the views of someone is one thing.  To render them completely meaningless in the face of a lifetime of societal contribution is another.

QuoteDonald Trump demands apology and fines for "foul language"

The war of words between Donald Trump and Fox News reached new levels on Wednesday when one of the network's talking heads said the Republican presidential frontrunner had been figuratively castrated by Carly Fiorina in last week's debate.

"Let's be honest: Carly cut his balls off with the precision of a surgeon, and he knows it," National Review editor and Fox News contributor Rich Lowry told "The Kelly File" host Megyn Kelly.

Trump quickly took to Twitter to call on the FCC to fine Lowry over the "balls" remark:

Incompetent @RichLowry lost it tonight on @FoxNews. He should not be allowed on TV and the FCC should fine him!

Fox News, however, is not a broadcast network but a cable channel, and thus is not subject to the agency's rules on obscenity, profanity and indecency.

Trump is also demanding an apology:

@FoxNews owes me an apology for allowing clueless pundit @RichLowry to use such foul language on TV. Unheard of!

Not at all. Other than thinking he knows it all and loving being worshiped as a god  by  his cultists, where exactly has he contributed to anything beyond maintaining  his own ludicrous ego?

His work has influenced fields such as artificial intelligence, cognitive science, computer science, logic, mathematics, music theory and analysis, political science, programming language theory and psychology.

Really? Just that little insult?

As Rich Lowry responded:

@realDonaldTrump I love how Mr. Anti-PC now wants the FCC to fine me. #pathetic

Off central topic, but I'm having a ball watching Donald shake up the  Q's of our world. They claim to be not concerned about him at all, but yet they pick up on him and go out of their way to  comment on every word he says, I just find it all even funnier than Donald himself

none of which has the square root of fuck all to do with his opinion on political correctness

Clearly I'm  referring to his value in the area of discussion (political correctness). His extremist socialist theories rule him  (or any extremist of any cloth)   out as having any value to that area, let alone to politics in general

His "describing how PC doesn't really exist but its presence is exaggerated by media as distraction to real problems"

is ludicrous, the ravings of  an out of control egotist

As to what was quoted, his opinion is both incorrect and meaningless. Most real people know that PC is very real and  one of if not "the" biggest societal things of our time. It is extremely important albeit important mainly as a negative force

Donald doesn't have a leg to stand on calling for an apology or a fine either though.

QuoteDonald Trump was on the receiving end of a vicious take-down by South Park on Wednesday evening, which skirted the borders of decency and taste and arguably crossed them.

In an almost unprecedented attack on a running presidential candidate, the adult cartoon lampooned the Republican and in a shocking finale, showed the billionaire businessman being brutally raped to death.

The inflammatory episode of the satirical cartoon, created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, was supposed to attack Trump's immigration policies and mocked his oft-repeated promise to build a wall between the US and Mexico.

Tycoon Trump's campaign declined to comment on the episode, which was entitled 'Where My Country Gone'.

Quote from: "RW""Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rapidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of shit by the clean end."

I have to say, this is one of the best definitions of a term I have seen to date.

I did not read this thread from the beginning..

Some people would consider me pc because I choose my words carefully..

But, I don't insist others copy what I do.
