Lamb for Christmas dinner....I never had that for Christmas.

I think the shoulder is yummier but it's got more fat than the shanks.

We have had lamb, but it's not one of our favourites.

It needs to be cooked slow in low heat and for hours covered in the oven in a dutch oven, Fash, while it cooks in stock, red wine, vegetables, and herbs like rosemary and thyme and then it should be off-the-bone tender. It can be yummy when done right. You don't want it tough.

I've had lamb chops as a kid, I liked them before I knew they were lamb.....I've also had sheep, which I really didn't care for.

Yes. I don't like it .. I sure do love lamb tho .... often chomp up mint, soak in vinegar overnight  and apply to individual pieces at the table
