Charlie Watts of Rolling Stones 1941 - 2021.

I've heard the name, but I didn't know what instrument he played......he was the drummer.

I wasn't really a Stones fan myself. A few tunes are okay.

I thought Keith Richards would die before Charlie Watts.

He was very cool. One of the original members... Not the best drummer out there but well more than capable for a band like the Stones... It was his low key, no bullshit persona that always impressed me. He gave class to a relatively classless, crass group. In fact he stated on more than one occasion that he felt totally out of place with the rest of the band but yet he hung in there for 58 years.
