You little bugger, that never happened. Who would they replace him with anyway?

What is interesting, is the NDP is considering adopting Naomi Klein's extremist LEAP manifesto while Rachel Nothead is saying she will not let up until we get to a yes on a pipeline to tidewater. She has hedged her bets on Mulcair's future as leader.

HOLY FUCK!! Who would replace him though? When will it happen? I did not expect him to lead the party into the 2019 election, but I expected him to hold on until 2018.

NDP support across Canada across Canada is collapsing. I've heard in some polls it's as low as 10 % nationally.

Fuck, I'm glad I didn't place a wager on this. I thought sure his job was safe for now.

On of our neighbour's daughter works part time at the Shaw. She told us this morning she never seen so many whites in one room as this NDP convention. :laugh3:

I just heard they'll pick a new leader within a year. As to who... that's hard to say.

Thanks for the up to date news tidbit bunny. It's been rumoured Cam Broten might try a run federally, but he lost his own seat in the NDP's crushing defeat here in Saskatchewan. My money would be on Paul Dewar being the next leader.

Anyone else want to make a prediction.

I am not surprised really. They party is in free fall. He will stay on as leader until his replacement is chosen.

The experiment with the centrism is over. The party will make a move to the left like the British Labour party did after Cameron won the election there. The party will never again flirt with forming government. The Mulcair wing will find a home in the Liberal party. The Grits must be giddy about all this.

Maybe Nathan Cullen, but that might be problematic since he is a Mulcair loyalist. Charlie Angus could be another. Peter Julian is another possibility.

I really liked Nathan Cullen until I found out he wanted to abolish the Senate. You just can't win.   :001_rolleyes:

I would never vote NDP, they are too extreme for me. But I agree Cullen does have a legitimate shot.
