This makes last year's Saskatchewan fires look like a small prairie grass fire. I know people that have had to flee.

We have friends up there too. Been following the news stories on this. It's the worst fire in history there. People weren't able to get home to retrieve their pets when they were evacuated and now there's been a deadly crash on a highway many were travelling to escape  ac_crying

On a side note, there are a lot of people getting supplies together for the people stranded on the highways etc. I hope their houses are safe  ac_crying

Cars abandoned on highway 63 because they did not have enough fuel to make the 460 km trip to Edmonton..



One of the worst disasters I have seen, even worse than the Alberta floods.

Two people died yesterday in a crash on Hwy 881 but they don't know if it's fire related or not.

That little highway cannot handle a heavy volume of traffic.
