Obviously, Romero and I have differences of opinion about the virtues of the free enterprise system, but he was a very fair mod. In fact, maybe the best one from any forum I have posted or lurked on.

As a Mod, he was actually OK.  He did a fairly good job of separating his personal beliefs from his Moderating decisions (something that is more difficult to do than most people think), but he does nonetheless sit at the fairly extreme 'left' in his personal beliefs.  Which is fine...  he is entitled to his opinions!

I've modded with him as well.  He and I haven't see eye on eye on some modding issues but he's a pretty fair guy.  I've never seen him censor someone based on their views or try to bury things he didn't like by merging them with other threads or editing posts.
