This is what I worry most about people like instigator and Gary Oak.

One day they'll be on their death bed thinking "why the heck did I spend all this time hating?"

While I was preparing supper I was watching a medical expert on tv speak of the factors that will reduce your lifespan by years..

There were the usual ones like smoking and obesity, but one of the other factors was stress...hate is unnecessary stress.

instigator

this isn't promotion of hate. it is opposition to m*ongrelism. which is a slf dprecating dfeatist aplogist mo*ngrelist.

no one cares about your personal life. it's your shithed opinions and warped distorted views which have been programmed by hollywood oppressors against /lpha asian mankind.

life is great. this is not hatred but a criticism of what i see out there that is wrong. m*ingrelism is one thing but the next step is slf dprecating dfeatist aplogist m*ongrelist. the worse kind of m*ongrelist

I have a problem with letting in people who think of Canadians as the enemy standing in the way of their countrymen taking over Canada and ruining things for Canadians. for example, chinese canadiscams secretly love that I was always set up when boxing over in China. It makes them laugh their heads off and only say they don't approve of this if people will realise just how horrible they actually are. Chinese also are aware that if Canadians were all aware of the FAN QING FU MING oaths and rituals are all aimed against them then we would not only not apologise for the head tax we simply would demand that we stop allowing chinese immigration altogether. It is alarming to me that Chinese are so alarmed at my speaking chinese while filipinos like me speaking tagalog. We don't lose ONE BILLION DOLLARS A MONTH to chinese spying and too many chinese canadiscams secretly consider Canada losing this much money to chinese spying a big victory

New poll suggests most Canadians in favour some restrictions on immigration

There's always been some ambivalence among Canadians when it comes to immigration but a new poll suggests immigrants themselves favour some restrictions.

The Forum Research poll conducted for the National Post found a majority of those polled, including Canadians born in other countries, favour restricting the number of qualified immigrants.

The telephone survey of 1,755 Canadians, done over two days last week with a sampling error or plus or minus two per cent 19 times out of 20, found 70 per cent thought there should be some limits on immigration.

What's interesting is that 58 per cent of new Canadians agreed with that, as did 66 per cent of Canadians whose parents were born in another country.

"It's interesting that the attitudes are not too different [from native-born Canadians]. ... To me, this is a very realistic thing," Roderic Beaujot, a professor emeritus of sociology and immigration expert at Western University, told the Post.

"Immigrants would know that it would be difficult for Canada to admit all qualified immigrants."

Citizenship and Immigration Canada announced last month that Canada admitted 257,515 permanent residents last year, extending to seven consecutive years the highest sustained level of immigration in the country's history. Canada averaged about 30,250 more admissions per year from 2006 to 2012 than from 1996 to 2005, the department said.

The Conservatives have revamped the system to favour more skilled immigrants and those with a good grasp of English of French, but also opened the door to more temporary foreign workers while trying to expedite the removal of failed refugee claimants and convicted criminals, the Toronto Star noted in a recent story.

Despite reforms, critics of Canada's immigration policy have kept up a steady drumbeat of opposition to allowing a quarter-million newcomers into the country each year.

Immigration is generally supported as a way of compensating for Canada's low birth rate but critics complain the newcomers compete with Canadians for jobs, strain social services and don't always integrate smoothly into society here.

Most Canadians are satisfied with the number of immigrants being admitted, said Jack Jedwab, the executive director of Montreal-based think-tank Association for Canadian Studies.

"There's still a segment of the population that has a variety of concerns about numbers, economic impacts, security issues," said Jedwab told the Post. "And the majority of Canadians, independent of the concerns they have, feel that immigration makes a positive contribution to the country."

Jedwab questioned the wording of the Forum Research poll question that forced respondents to pick between either admitting all qualified immigrants or imposing limits.

He said his association's own polling earlier this month — with a similar-sized sample — suggested most Canadians, native-born or not, were not concerned about the number of immigrants.

"The general feeling is that the majority of Canadians do not feel that there are too many immigrants in the country," he told the Post.

"Do Canadians want immigrants whose skills match the economic needs? I would say they do ... I think the Canadian government is attempting to respond to that."

Here's another wonderful new Canadiscam. It's nice to see that Canada will probably do the right thing and send this guy back to India after he does some time. I doubt that he will get a second chance at living in another great white nation. It seems everybody only  want to move to white nations,Japan and Israel

Gary, I heard about the results of that survery..

I must say that I am surprised by the results..

None of my girlfriends or colleagues have expressed any opposition to immigration..

Maybe people just don't feel comfortable talking about restricting immigration in public.

OTTAWA -- The website for the Happy Postpartum Rest Centre in Vancouver tells prospective clients: "The best gift you can give your newborn is a passport!"

The website -- written in Chinese -- is aimed at bringing pregnant Chinese women to Canada where they can give birth. By virtue of Canadian law, any baby born here becomes a citizen. Pejoratively called "anchor babies," these newborns are used to gain access to welfare and other social programs.

"Child reaches 18, parents can apply for dependents, fast issuance, just about a year," the website reads.

The  website for Mississauga-based Mother Baby Home provides similar information.

The phenomenon is not unique to the Chinese. Immigration Minister Jason Kenney is considering how to update the system to close this abused loophole.

"The department (of citizenship) is aware of unscrupulous consultants who encourage pregnant women to travel (here) to give birth, secure citizenship for their child and gain access to Canada's considerable benefits -- all without having a connection to Canada," a Citizenship spokesperson wrote in an e-mail.

More fen qing taking advantage of Canada's lax immigration policies.

I believe the context of the survey is a little misleading. Definitely most people want some restrictions and limits on immigration, which we already have.

Doesn't mean they oppose immigration. The survey says most Canadians are happy with the number of immigrants and feel they make a positive contribution.

Not mentioned in the article - 0.001% of Canadians oppose immigration because they've been beaten up by Chinese guys.

Chinese immigration and student visas must be immediately stopped for reasons of national security.

People like you have been warning about the "Chinese menace" for over a hundred years. Yet after all this time Canada has only become a great country.

You must be freaking out that the new pope is a Jesuit.

I thought something didn't feel right about the survey either..

Now I know I am not a political lady, but if restricting immigration was an issue I would think I would have heard about it from someone.
