Thanks SB.  I was looking further into Trumps new plan and apparently it is a Heritage Foundation originated plan. They entitled it the "skinny budget"

I was surprised by Trumps about-face just as you.   I would guess someone has been whispering in his ear, maybe a repub party person or advisor.   Whoever it is I hope they keep it up, and I hope Trump keeps listening and of course follows through.

Quote from: "Seoulbro" it seems Trump is moving away from big spending towards fiscal conservatism. Kind of like how Newt Gingrich forced Bill Clinton to be.

Good point.  Bill Clinton deserves credit for being fiscally conservative.  But as you say, Gingrich and the repubs helped him get there.

Of course Joe is deliberately being an asshole. He knows about the proposed spending cuts and slash the massive debt Obama left behind.

That's what I  wonder about Joe, is he a person who follows politics but has no thinking capacity?

Or is he just a troll using politics to try and stir people up?

Then again, Maybe it doesn't matter,  either way he is an idiot.

Joe boy knows he is posting misinformation. He thinks he is stirring the pot.

He is frustrated because he hasn't been laid in over three decades.

Quote from: "Yeah Right"What a massive understatement.  Obama doubled all the debt of every president before him combined.  his presidency is a fiscal disaster.

BTW you are (deliberatelly?) missing some of the news that trump is going to try and cut the budget?

Lump...I've mentioned on many occasions the Obama was not my kind of liberal.

He did some things right, but some things terribly wrong.

I agree that he had to provide the US economy with a massive stimulus in 2008 because it was in rough shape.

And any Republican would have been forced to do the same thing, as were the leaders in Europe and Asia.

Whoever fault it was, It was not a normal time. Get it? Even the Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson who served in Bush's administration, said the same damn thing. Bush was doing it, and Obama just continued with it.

I also agree with Obama bailing out General Motors, otherwise there wouldn't have been an auto industry for the US to go back to.

And all of Trump's efforts to bring jobs back to the USA would never have happened. Trump should thank Obama for bailing out GM so that his plans for the auto industry today could take effect. Otherwise if the legs had been kicked out from underneath GM, the US economy would be considerably weaker today.

Where I criticize Obama was that he wasted his mandate, time and money catering towards special interest groups on the fringe left. When the US economy finally turned a bit of a corner, he should have reduced stimulus spending dramatically. Like any stimulus, it should have only been a temporary measure.  He should have been spending that money trying to bring back investment and jobs into the US like Trump is today. Also, one of his key supporters, Steve Jobs criticized Obama for not holding a conference between venture capitalists and industrialists to get the American economy moving again. Bill Clinton knew how to do, but Obama didn't.

The reason I liked Clinton, is he created a booming economy, jobs, better social services for Americans AND he cut the deficit to produce a surplus. Any leader who can accomplish this feat is in my mind, a success. Although former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper was not perfect, grudgingly, I will admit his administration was an economic success. He also delivered a balanced budget while delivering social services for Canadians. He deserves a lot of credit for things he didn't get. Though he was officially a 'Conservative', in many respects he also reminded me of a 'Clinton Democrat'.

Why do you credit to Clinton for the things Newt Gingrinch. And better social services in 90's? Dream on.

The wicked protesters kept people from the stands that's because they are cockroaches. Meanwhile, the election has come and gone, the inauguration came and went. Our new president is in the White House. Thank you, America!

No one is trying to discourage you by not showing up to his inauguration.  It just shows what little support the guy really has in America.

Take the hint.

@realAzhyaAryola

If you want to consider them as excuses, you may. To me they are facts. Your attempts to discredit him do nothing for me anyway. Your country has an asshole in Ottawa, I hear.
