Quote from: "Bricktop"It's an important piece of literature.

I think it's settled, 1984 it is.

Cool! Let me know what you think, as I really do wanna read that one.

Wazzzup would be proud of you reading it too

You haven't read it?

I thought you had.

I've heard a lot about it, and know a lot about it, but havent read it.

Perhaps we should both make reading that book our New Year's resolution.

One of many resolutions

I wanna find a new job, and start exercising again too (I've slacked on exercising ever since that arm injury).
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Quote from: "Blazor"The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King wasnt bad, was hard to put down too. Only took a week to read. The way it ended, there could be a sequel, but there isnt one. Also it tied in slightly with the Dark Tower, and It.

Next book Im about to start, Mr Mercedes, by Stephen King.

Been going through the King books that have been on the shelf that I havent read yet.

I was never into books.

Fixed it for ya

Only joking lol, what kind of books were you into?

Think I got into King in late middle school, early high school. Was beyond anything I had read at that point, and that interested me.

What a smartass.

I dont want to spoil anything, but there is a guy who is messed up in the head, and runs a bunch of folks down with a Mercedes. He isnt caught, the detective on the case retires, and then 6 months later, he receives a letter from Mr. Mercedes. The detective goes from there even though he is retired. Lots of clues, and events along the way that are crazy, and it becomes a race against time at the end to prevent him from killing thousands.

This was one of the fastest books I read, just because I kept wanting to know what was going to happen next, especially the last half.

It sounds like an interesting  novel.
