Im sure it was a figure of speech to a degree, but someone DID post some examples recently on another board, for instance police officers that died at some riot recently.

Blazor is right, it was a figure of speech, but alt left violence is labelled differently than alt right criminality. Alt left crimes are not listed as hate crimes or acts of domestic terror. That is according to a government accountability office study.
