Yo Gordy,

I'm no stranger to the West Coast.  My wife is from Mullaloo, so we get over that way from time to time.  We tend to holiday down in Denmark, and we're thinking of buying a retirement place down there while WA real estate prices are down in the sewer.

You wouldn't be Breakfall from Third Rail, would you?

No I know him and he is banned from here.

Denmark is nice.

I holiday in Thailand

I think it's set up so new members can't start threads.  I think we set that up when Mel was account cycling after getting banned.  Check the permissions on the new member level rank.

That is pretty much the exact opposite of myself. I am socially liberal, and market based solutions are best in my opinion. I want a limited role for government.

I am not a libertarian though. A safety net is necessary.

Harry, I forgot to ask, what do you do?

I am a registered financial planner.

We can argue back and forth what the best way to redistribute wealth. But, first the wealth has to be produced. The freer the economy the better the  chances of growth. Sweden and Singapore are examples of that.

Of course we can but I'm just wondering what you mean specifically.  Like what makes up a "freer economy"?  Are we talking stock exchange/investment models?  Or something else?

Welcome Harry.

I am a business owner and I work 100 plus hours per week. I don't get to post as often as I like.

Politically, I am a fairly doctrinaire libertarian. Government is far too big and too expensive.

I'm a wine collector.

I am 50.

And I am not in a relationship.
