More drivers, more buses, a new bus yard in the city, a new maintenance yard for SkyTrain.

If I take the C-train or a bus, it's one fare anywhere in Calgary.

Yeah it was a Big Black Monster with what was essentially a mobile discotheque in the back.



Brand new as well. Probably cost the owner $150 000 when he bought it.



My sense of relief passed when after the trip I hadn't 'christened' the vehicle with the driver's 'kiss', aka gash/scrape.



However last I saw of the vehicle, it had more than a few gashes since I drove it.



Glad I wasn't the one who did it.



Driving large vehicles like busses or stretch limousines is very difficult & mistakes can be fatal



You have to be a very good driver to manoeuvre those things and remain accident-free.



Not everyone should try to become a bus driver for the public's safety & common good.

Buses are easier, as they usually always have designated routes and pull-outs.



Why not apply?  Driving skills are good to have, but they also want someone that has customer service skills also, and won't throw the next drunken fucking Indian off the bus with a punch to the face on the Hastings route!

Sadly, this is a good wage for Vancouver.  And the exact reason why Whites are getting the fuck outta here.  I've heard that 50% of Vancouverites do NOT plan on living here until they die, me being one of them.  That is an extremely large number of people wanting to get the fuck out.



I have noticed that as the population of new immigrants grows in a city, wages stay suppressed.  Vancouver is an example of this phenomenon also.
