In an effort to address the appalling electricity supply reliability as a result of idiotic "green" energy generation, we now have the world's biggest battery.

But whatever it means, what those batteries represent is the need to pay even MORE money for "sustainability", because the core technology is insubstantial in providing base load power. So, to cope with the predictable failure of "green energy", we spend millions of dollars on a battery that will sit idle for 95% of the time, and cater for a very small fraction of the power required to maintain energy to SA homes.

We are LUCKY to have the ability to even produce power using hydro-electric generation, but the fucking typical opposition is always there, because we gave them an inch to begin with...
