Exactly.  Only with control of media, can propaganda be inserted into everyone's lives.  The free nature of the net makes this hard for them to do, and it frustrates them.

Europe is certainly hostile to free speech and the UK is a big part of that.  But I'd like to see a reputable news source confirm this story.  Where did they get the figure 3,400 from? they seem to say the London Times, but you need to a subscriptioon to search it.

You two are exactly right.  And on the interent people don't feel like they have to be as politically correct.  if a group annoys them (like Muslims) they can state it and usually have no fear of repercussions.  The left would like nothing more than to take that away and have everyone live in fear and dare not say anything that dissents from what they are told they must believe.
