We've endured near freezing temps on and off for over a month, so warming up to record warm temperatures in January, are considered warm here.

Thermometer says 35 outside here but it's only a bit after 2pm. Should hit or get near to 40 by the end.

We had some hot days in the summer when we lived in Kazakhstan,  but not that hot.

But, Vegas and Arizona are a dry heat. It's low thirties in Panama, and the heat can be stifling.

I would prefer a dry heat than humidity. Humidity makes ya feel sticky and in need of a shower.
