Yes, I know there are breeders in many countries, and the Australian government does permit breeders to take pairs out of the country. That usually means we're allowed to take some of their critters...although why we'd want to is a mystery.



Its rather crazy with bird life here...now we've just had a small flock of Ibis fly over.

A red capped something or rather no doubt.

Its a European goldfinch.



Introduced late 19th century as pets.



Found in the eastern states and South Australia.



A flock of them were released in Perth, and they all died, so none in WA.
