A small Murray Magpie is trying to remove a common magpie from its perch. The common magpie is rather difficult to intimidate, not to mention being about twice the size of the Murray Magpie.

Terrific picture Bricktop.

Bricktop

Thank you!

I've been suffering shutter block lately and haven't been as active as I should be with my hobby.

This one is very unusual.

Cockatoos are not sociable creatures insofar as other birds are concerned. When they are in a tree, it's THEIR tree and visitors are discouraged, quite empahtically.

A few days ago, a flock of black cockatoos settled in a tree a few hundred metres away, shortly followed by a flock of white cockatoos who settled in the same tree. This is most uncommon, if not rare.

A social commentary, perhaps??
