Australia is not burdened by an alien culture to the same magnitude as America with the massive Mexican wave folding over it. Similarly, Australia does not have the same racial issues with blacks. The Australian aboriginal population is small, and disorganised.



Australia does not have a massive gun problem...and this is key to any potential internecine conflict.



Australia does not have the same proportion of leftist elites as the US. Australian entertainers are not granted the same status as their US counterparts, and they have no influence.



Australia does not have the same propensity to violence as the US.



Australia suffers less political corruption.



Australia is a far more egalitarian society.



Australia's military is comparatively small and less likely to support an armed conflict.



That does not mean it can't happen here. It can. And if the US leads the way, the chances of civil uprising will increase. However, the US or UK are far more likely, and for the same reasons, to collapse into chaos and crisis.



Regardless, the chances of armed conflict in Western democracies grow daily.
