My guess is that there are probably a lot less Chinese in Southern Virginia than there are in the Vancouver area.

In my area, as far as minorities, its blacks, then Mexicans, then Indians (not native). Not many Asians at all. I was blown away at how many Asians were in Seattle.

Speaking of my brother, he sold his million dollar condo. Moved into a high rise apartment in downtown, on the 30th floor! Said real estate prices were coming down some, so he wanted to sell while he could flip profit.
