You might be right. We were never devout. More baptism, confirmation, wedding, and mass of Christian burial Catholics. Mass every Sunday was not our thing.

baptism and communion are fine.... necessary even.... but the pope? lol.... God doesn't need a representative.... and confession? the whole point of Jesus is so we can directly approach God with our sin.... don't even get me started on the statues and praying to mary and the "saints".... regular catholics aren't bad ppl.... but the ones "in charge" are doing satans work....

I hadn't really thought about the position of the Pope. What you are saying makes sense.

a relationship with God is a personal one and nobody can or should have the same one.... as far as i'm concerned, organized religion is a bad idea unless you're VERY cautious about what they "teach"....
