The Minnesota Department of Corrections has reached a settlement with a transvestic inmate who sued over his treatment in prison. Craig Lusk, who changed his name to Christina in 2018, will receive nearly $500,000 along with a sex-change surgery. Lusk filed suit in Ramsey County District Court on June 6, 2022, claiming he was being discriminated against for being "transgender" in violation of both the Minnesota Human Rights Act as well as the Minnesota Constitution.

The suit further claimed the DOC had deferred the convict's sex-change surgery until his release in 2024, "misgendered" Lusk, and compromised his safety by imprisoning him with other men.

Michigan parents filed a lawsuit against their children's school district on Friday after four female students allegedly discovered an exposed male in the girls' restroom.

Parents took legal action against Vicksburg Community Schools over a district-wide policy that allows biological male students to use the girls' restrooms and locker room facilities.

According to the parents' 37-page federal lawsuit, the district implemented the policy without informing parents or students. Four minor female students at Vicksburg High School only learned of the policy when they discovered a biological male student inside the girls' restroom.

When the female students reported the incident to school administrators, they were told to "tolerate it" and to "look away" when a male student exposed himself, according to the lawsuit. The complaint also alleged that the girls were instructed to make the situation as "natural" as possible, the National Review reported.

The school is forcing female students to be subjected to indecent exposure, the complaint said.

However, if putting on ladies' clothing when the lights go down weren't bad enough, Dr. Shane Murnan was also arrested and charged with possessing child pornography and drugs in 2001.

Murnan was 30 years old and teaching fifth grade at Will Rogers Elementary School in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at the time. The child pornography charge was later dropped, but that was only because a judge later determined that prosecutors had not proven that the victims in the images found on his devices were underage.

Hundreds of students at a southeastern Pennsylvania high school walked out of class in protest last week after the district school board voted to continue letting transgender students use whatever restrooms they want.

About 400 students walked out of Perkiomen High School on Friday, the Delaware Valley Journal reported. The school district is located just over an hour northwest of Philadelphia.

The board voted 5-4 Sept. 11 against a policy requiring boys and girls to use the restrooms corresponding to their biological sex, the Journal said, adding that one Republican school board member, Don Fountain, voted with Democrats against the measure.
