A urology professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison admitted that research on the impacts of cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers is "severely lacking," according to an April grant application obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The outlet reported that Doctor Walid Farhat, chief of pediatric urology at the UW's School of Medicine and Public Health, applied for a grant earlier this year to fund research on the impacts of the drugs on prepubescent rats. He stated that the rat model system was chosen because of its "usefulness in studying the impact of hormones on biological processes."

Cepeda competed against nine other female swimmers, all of whom were 13 or 14 years old. Cepeda made a mockery of the "Girls 13 & over" age requirement for the 200-meter competition, as he was both the only male competitor and the only swimmer in the entire event over 17 years old.

Organizers of the meet were confronted by reporter David Menzies, who presented a copy of the swimming competition's results. After initially denying the man's participation, administrators admitted fault and agreed that Cepeda did actually take part.

A Delta Airlines employee went viral over the Christmas holiday for standing up to a transgender activist who was causing a scene for allegedly having been "misgendered."

The video shows transgender actor Tommy Dorfman — a biological man who identifies as a woman — confront Delta Airlines gate agents at LaGuardia Airport in New York on Saturday. The video doesn't show what happened prior to the confrontation, but the Delta employees are clearly upset that they can't help other customers because Dorfman is causing a scene.

Dorfman's grievance was that the employees "intentionally" misgendered him by not using female pronouns to refer to him, a charge one of the employees denied.
