YEP!!! In fact, the land ownership was promised to the Hebrews (jews) forever!!! The deed is eternal!

Biggie Smiles

To me it doesn't even matter if the land was originally given to the jews or not.

it was mostly barren and uninhabited until the return of the jews and no one really gave the first fuck until the jews built it up into a thriving metropolis. Then all of the sudden the very same people who don't want Palestinians in their countries decided to lay claim to it.

So tomorrow I throw a piece of furniture in the garbage and someone comes along with great ideas and a lot of talent and takes the time and effort to turn that furniture I considered garbage into a beautiful masterpiece
worth a lot of money

If I get in my feelings because this thing is now a masterpiece do I get to demand it back?

I dont think so, but that's just me.

I am pretty sure when Jehovah gave Israel to the Hebrews it was prime real estate not desert and the Canaanites were there first. About 2,000 BCE.

To me, the REAL noteworthy points besides that the deed is eternal, is that God specifically told them to exterminate ALL the current inhabitants who had forfeited their lives via paganism and other evil. Of course the Hebrews didnt follow instructions and suffered as a result.

They were a culture that believed they were rewarded when they did good, (obeyed God) and punished when they did bad. However how could anyone do true good when every invading tribe raped, pilaged and plundered regularly?

The Middle East are all cousins.

Quote from: reaps the honest on January 05, 2024, 11:08:56 AMTo make out people hate you then flounce is quite frankly a ridiculous stance. You came here and made statements that were quite frankly unture and ridiculous. And then got pulled up on what you said.I understand you might not like mine or anyother persons views on the people of Palestine but they are our views.

So let's look at this from a hypothetical situation that quite frankly you won't like the result of but it gives everyone a true and unbiased view of the Palestinian people as a whole.

The people of the west bank are given the opportunity to vote in a new leader/government in a free democratic vote.

The three main parties are-

1) the palestiuan authority- keep the status quo.

2) Hamas- I wonder what they would do.

3) The mother teresa peace and love party- Who would work to make things better and have no wars/conflicts.

NOW WHICH ONE OF THAT THREE WOULD THE PEACE LOVING PEOPLE OF THE WEST BANK VOTE IN.

Answer that question honestly and then try to understand as to why most people think the paletinians as a people are barbaric savages.

We spoke before about this.  I understand why people think that.  All im saying is how would you like to live in a compound with never getting to leave your neighborhood.  Not knowing what it's like to see the outside world.  That breeds hate. It's occupation.  Nothing belongs to them.

Israel is known to have the best intelligence in the world and they can detect a person with Covid in a movie theater but they had no clue what was about to take place when that music festival was going on?  Come on you're a smart man.

The Palestinian people I know want peace.  Do you know that in Jenin refugee camps they will just raid the camps no warnings whatsoever.

Have you driven by Gaza? I have.  It's a compound.  It's looks like a prison from the outside.

I feel like since the Zionist government/movement is what caused as much hate. They hate Palestinians.  They want them out of the land and it's been the intention since the get go.

It's crazy to me you see it as one sided.

You just refuse to get it don't you?

The Palestinians are not trusted and for good reason... I would NEVER trust a Palestinian now.

The reason Palestinians can't go anywhere, 50% of the youth are unemployed and will never have enough money to travel anywhere.

The pity me bulldust has worn thin...the population had homes, hospitals, accommodation and they all look well fed to me too. They didn't look hard done by to me.

I'm sorry what do I not get?? What are you trying tell me. I wasn't even writing you and where was I asking for pity.  I'm not living in hell or have had my arm blown off or had to identify my child under rubble of blown concrete.  Give me a fucking break.  You have no idea what it's like to be on either side of this shit so stop acting like you know.  I don't even know.  I have visited the refugee camps... have you??? I have no idea what you have seen but I haven't seen that.

lol what a great thing to say you really for humanity right.  They are unemployed and can't hold a job so they are scum of the earth and can't leave.  Nope wrong answer.  This really is amusing and sad to say the least.

Ok

Moon, do you believe Palestinians are justified taking hostages? Babies, young children, elderly, etc?

Like I've said previously, Christian Palestinians are wonderful people. I know several. And they too are hated by the Muslim majority there.

Thank you.  I can't say I'm personally friendly with Muslims but I want that to change.  I feel like that is the only way we share the gospel.  I was looking into missions into Muslim areas but now that I'm a grandma it's holding me back some.

Never said that.  But do you think it's justified in bombing a city continuously killings over 20 thousand mostly women and children?

If you ever get invited over to a Palestinian Australian household for coffee, rosewater, or a spread... I suggest you take them up on the offer and show them the same kindness and humility as they're offering you.

You will be treated like a king.  Hospitality is a strong suit.  If you're hungry you'll eat if you're not you will still eat lol.  It's ridiculous.  But so much fun right and the Arabic coffee and treats. I mean my community are Christian so I don't know.  Muslim people share the same hospitality culture just we don't wear the hijab. We have different wedding cultures too.  We don't look like we are having a funeral like they are and put red belts on so weird. Its all interesting though.  All of it makes me want to take world religion class.

I can understand the frustration, but what invalidates your point is the simple fact that Gaza borders TWO countries. Egypt and Israel. Now any Palestinian with a modicum of common sense could understand why Israel blocks them from entering Israel but what excuse does Egypt have and why is no one placing any of them blame on them for this "compound" you speak of

now, if you want to divide the blame for this "compound" of a situation and say it's proportionate to land mass, ie 75% Israeli fault and 25% Egypt's fault I can see the logic in that and would stand by your assessment. But to say Israel is completely to blame while absolving Egypt of any responsibility, or at the very least failing to include their culpability in this assessment, ESPECIALLY when Israel has endured a barrage of terror attacks while at the same time Egypt has not is a bit disingenuous.

Perhaps it is for this reason that despite being well liked and highly respected by myself and many others here we are having a hard time empathizing with your points?

Consistency goes along way towards convincing your audience.

We don't know that 20 thousand is an accurate number

just as we don't know for sure that babies were actually placed in ovens or beheaded. At least I dont as I have not seen such atrocities with my own eyes.

what I have seen with my own eyes was a young innocent girl being paraded through the streets of Gaza like some spoil of war being spat upon and kicked like a criminal. By the very same children you are asking us to feel sorry for right now

I didn't see a single person in that video express disgust, remorse and any of the other traits which would help me identify with them as decent human beings. To me they appeared as fellow combatants supportive of the Hamas cause and therefore subject to the same response hamas is getting.

let me put it to you this way. IF you had family of neighbors living down the road who consistently harassed you and the people you love, even going so far in the past as murdering one of your own and gave you every reason in the world to believe they'll continue doing that and more any chance they get would you hesitate bombing their home (assuming you could) because their children might get harmed in the process?

I know I wouldn't. I'd bomb the fuck out of every last one of them and then go eat a pork sandwich and sleep as soundly as a newborn baby that night. for real.
