Procedurally and politically it would be almost impossible for them to skip Kopmala. Also, she would be able to "inherit" the campaign funds and infrastructure which an outsider could not.

The only reason for it to *not* be Kopmala is that they simply don't like her. Given the likelihood that this election is already lost anyway running Kopmala wouldn't taint someone they *do* like.

She's literally all they've got at this point; either that or keep ridin' with Biden and let the chips fall where they may.

If they skip her they will turn their convention into a Chuck E Cheese bday party.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if states legislation were suspended to get around the problem of all the states the democrats would lose outright by virtue of swapping out candidates this late in the game.

And if you think this is the end, wait until you see how blatant the steal in 2028 will be.

I'll admit, I'd like nothing more than to see treasonous parasites like Admongo and Sewage hanging from trees. They're irredeemable, sue me.
