A person can kind of live remote and off the grid there. It is hard to do that in Canada because of the climate.

We've got all types of climate here too.

Not all of Australia is hot or pleasant.

The author of a Joe Biden biography revealed Tuesday that he believes the Biden administration is the most "scripted" White House in modern American history.

Last year, author Chris Whipple published his book "The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden's White House," which covers the first years of Biden's presidency. The White House granted Whipple significant access to Biden's inner circle for the book, which ultimately produced in Whipple a unique perspective about the Biden administration.

"The thing to understand here is that the DNA of this White House is controlling the narrative. And I can tell you, having written a book about it, that this White House is the most battened down, buttoned up, scripted White House in modern history," he alleged.

Not only does the White House control its narrative, but access to Biden is tightly supervised — even for his biographer.

"While I was able to interview in real time almost all of Joe Biden's inner circle, when it came to Biden himself, the deal was: Written answers to written questions," Whipple revealed. "I'd never heard of that before."

Ezra Klein, the leftist founder of Vox, revealed to a fellow traveler at another leftist blog Wednesday that Biden was not the only Democrat who appears not to have really believed in the existential threat narrative.

Tim Miller of the Bulwark told Klein on his podcast that he frequently encounters "this 'democracy is at threat,' 'it's an existential threat,' all these, you know, kind of phrases that are thrown about ... on the op-ed pages of the New York Times and on MSNBC where I frequent."

Klein later explained how top Democrats, cognizant of the likelihood Biden will suffer a humiliating defeat in November, can justify not asking him to exit the race despite their peers having floated this existential threat as a likely consequence.

"Top Democrats believe that if Joe Biden is on top of the ticket, he will lose, but are also not coming out and calling on him to resign. I think there are a lot of ways to say it, but I think one thing that is being revealed is that ... whatever they believe intellectually, they certainly do not believe Donald Trump is an existential threat to American democracy," said Klein.

Klein suggested he respected Democratic Maine Rep. Jared Golden's recent op-ed in the Bangor Daily News, which signaled this understanding among Democrats that Trump does not pose a risk to democracy.

Golden wrote, "While I don't plan to vote for him, Donald Trump is going to win. And I'm OK with that."

I agree, but I doubt it will ever happen. The Democrats in congress liked the shady shenanigans of Dr Fauci.

France has a Muslim and African problem.  Foreign citizens of all types are 7% of all people in France (non-Eutopean non-whites make up between 20% and 30% but we don't know exactly because the French government refuses to report the data)...  Yet they make up almost half of all crime in France.  61% of the offenders when it comes to rape.  These are mostly African and middle Eastern criminals.

This might be our fate here in the US if the US continues the Democrats open borders for everyone policy.

The Biden/democrat plan to deploy "young social media influencers" to drum up support for the Biden regime isn't going to work for the same reason "young social media influencers" are a factor in the first place.

The democrats are correct in their assessment of the reach and effect that social media has and will continue to have on electoral politics but they're wrong about everything else. They're trying to apply the same playbook they use in corporate media: targeted propaganda on a repetitive loop until a desired number of consumers has been brainwashed.

That's not how social media works.
If it was that simple they wouldn't be in the process of banning TikTok; they would simply be using the platform to engage those consumers of information. Instead they're trying to do both: use the platform to disseminate their propaganda then ban it so it can no longer be used against them.

But social media isn't a top-down information distribution system. It's not controllable in that way. The establishment can't wrap their heads around that model; the very idea scares the shit out of them; therefore they hate it and want to either control or destroy it.

Unfortunately for the establishment it's that very control, corruption, and manipulation of information that drove mostly younger people to abandon corporate media in favor of social media. Attempts to turn social media platforms into mere extensions of corporate media are only going to backfire. People will find new, less corrupted, platforms or make their own. The days of corporate media dominance of public opinion are over and they're not coming back.

Of course the establishment could bypass all the messaging headaches and simply adopt policies that are actually popular among the citizenry they allegedly represent but that's the one thing they will never do because they're not allowed. The oligarchs, the donor class, and the military industrial complex are the people who set agendas and guide policy decisions. They will never approve a shift toward governance that serves people instead of corporations, the wealthy, and full spectrum dominance of the entire planet.

So all our politicians can do is double and triple down on cooking up more effective bullshit and censoring  anyone who refuses to parrot that bullshit.

Those exact authoritarian attitudes and efforts are what people already hate about the establishment.

It's a downward spiral leading to ever more aggressive methods of control with ever more anger and determined resistance to those methods.

Like the famous quote from the movie 'War Games':

"A strange game. The only winning move is not to play."

That is Trudeau's plan too. He has been more aggressive about it than Biden.

In fact, some would say that the Dems' game plan is the brazen authoritarianism that hass been the hallmark of a decade of Trudeau's top down reign.

Shooter was located on a roof some 400 feet away from the podium.  He was a white male but no further info has officially been released.  Supposedly there was no identification on the body.  Reportedly the Secret Service snipers shot him on the head with a very large caliber rifle round.

I don't want to post in a Joe thread, so I will say my piece here. I wish Trump had chosen a woman or a minority.

Why?  That's just buying into the Proggie MultiCulti Intersectional bullshit.

If a "minority" votes for someone just because the candidate is from the same tribe, or a cunt votes for another cunt just because she has a cunt, then those people are dumbasses who don't deserve the franchise.

I like the Vance pick.  I would have been fine with Rubio or Vivek too, but I think DeSantis would have been the best strategic choice.

I get what you are laying down. I agree. But, the party of Trump wants to grow the movement. Vivek, Kristi Noem, or Tulsi Gabbard might help.
