I don't support universal suffrage. Voters should be stakeholders, ie employed.

I think those seeking elected office should also be stakeholders, ie they should have families. I'm saying this as an East Asian woman. Rich East Asian countries have the lowest birth rates in the world.

Countries need their citizens to reproduce. Politicians should lead by example. Kids get in the way of a lot of East Asian women's self-indulgent lifestyle choices. Sorry, I would never vote for you. Nobody should.

I think the point is not that people with kids have better qualities than those without. Clearly there are millions of examples of people with kids who are absolute scum. Scum to others and scum to the very children they procreated.

The point is that you have a better chance of someone being a better fit for leadership if they have a personally vested interest in subsequent generations thriving in this country because their own blood is a part of those subsequent generations. With a vested interested in the outcomes for those they should love people might have a greater propensity towards making choices that will better achieve a better outcome than those without. It's a guestimate - -nothing more. Much like reading the tea leaves or trying to play the stock market based on certain signals.

But see, for all the times you will hear some dorky libtard use the term "it's nuanced" they prove here they have not the slightest understanding of what nuanced actually means.

As any decent person here who is a parent can tell you -- you have a completely different mindset on the future when you become a parent than you did before.

I know some childless adults....they do think differently than those of us with families..

I agree people with children are likely to care more about future generations for obvious reasons..
