They are all very close... mere parts of seconds away from each other's times. They all deserve respect unless they cheat like the East Germans used to and robbed some of our girls Gold. Lisa Curry Kennedy was one swimmer, Raylene Boyle in running was robbed of Gold too.

See, Shane Gould was a Western Australia girl and Wiki doesn't even mention that because she lives in New South Wales now but she went all religious, married really young and went to a farm and quit swimming.... then she came back around 40 and competed... too late... goodness knows the heights she would have reached in her 20s...

Anyway a couple of years ago during covid I think she went on Australian Survivor and won. The oldest contestant to ever win Survivor. The young people didn't even know who she was and how famous she was well they know now.

The other very famous Western Australian is Margaret Court... even Serina Williams didn't crack her tennis record. Margaret Court is a Paster(sp?) Has her own church... and because she spoke out about homosexual marriage, woke Australia want her stadium renamed. She has a tennis stadium named after her.

There is going to be a fight for 3rd placing on the medal tally ladder...lol

Chinese girl won 2nd round and made the Aussie girls nose bleed

in the last round I thought the Aussie smashed it but nope, they gave the 3rd round to China and I disagree. I would like to know why  the Chinese won it because it wasn't obvious to me.

Our medic team  were armed with anti biotics and anti-virals and yes covid was rampant through the village, probably spread by food preparers...they didn't say that, I am saying that. A little annoying bug that has ruined dreams.

I am running out of gigs so I am using the smart TV which doesn't copy and paste. Oz is 3rd at 18 gold and there is no way we can catch China or America both at 33 gold apiece. Now Australia has to hold on to 3rd place because the Brits and France are just behind us waiting to overtake.

I am watching the mens marathon and they are playing Kate Bush, Running Up that Hill....very very kewl indeed.
