Quote from: DKG on December 20, 2024, 10:08:13 AMChrystia Freeland resigned from her post, citing disagreements with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on, as she described "reckless spending" and fiscal irresponsbility.

She announced her resignation in a letter to Trudeau on Monday, in which she said the two have been "at odds about the best path forward for Canada", and pointed to the "grave challenges" posed by dangerous overspending. She has listed several exmaples, including the most recent "GST Holiday" which she believes is a "senseless political gimmick".

In an interview with Vassy Kapelos

Vassy Kapelos: "The entire nation has read your resignation letter to the Prime Minister. And now you've requested this interview to tell your side of the story. Can you tell us how this has happened so sudden and unexpectedly?"

Chrystia Freeland: "To be clear, I saw this coming even before the Prime Minister asked me to resign last week. We've been at odds for quite some time now.. I've pleaded for fiscal austerity and some level of restraint on all the reckless spending, but he won't listen. Not to me, not to anyone."

Vassy Kapelos: "So you're saying that the $250 cheques to be sent out, the GST holiday, all of this was ordered by Trudeau and you had nothing to do with it?"

Chrystia Freeland: "Exactly. And you know, I even had a solution to the overspending that would fix the economy as well but Justin wouldn't go for it."

I question the integrity of a woman who has previously written puff pieces for George Soros and who is subsequently declared in a 2014 filing to parliament to have received $1.3 million for a book deal, the specifics of the subject matter which were never disclosed in the public forum. I question her overnight rise from "journalist" and "author" to minister for international trade, I question her subsequent promotions to minister for foreign affairs, intergovernmental affairs and ultimately the minister for finance, not to mention her being named as deputy prime minister, all of which happened as the fortunes of the average Canadian were faltering, indeed "flatlining". Talk about "failing upwards".

I'd also question the veracity of her claims of preaching "fiscal responsibility" to Justin Trudeau in light of the enormous payouts to the failed war effort in Ukraine, money that she herself signed off on as finance minister. A post which Justin Trudeau telegraphed the Friday before her resignation that he wished to remove her from for some other cabinet position. A demotion effectively and one long overdue in my opinion, given the absolute shambles the Canadian experience has become over the last decade.

None of this so far is up for debate. It is all factual record. Chrystia Freeland is clearly an opportunist and there is no opportunity left where Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is concerned. That is core reason for her resignation and no amount of damage control of her part should paint it in any other light.

Tinfoil hat time; I put it to you that the most cursory glance over her pre-politics involvement as journalist, author and perhaps most tellingly her agitation against soviet interests during her activist years in Kyiv stands her in good stead for being a Soros asset. I put it to you that it is not beyond the realms of possibility that she was given a massive warchest and leg up for her political aspirations and engineered into her lofty position within the Liberal party just as Trudeau was, but with the election of Trump their political capital is not simply tenuous, it is in fact next to non-existent.

Soros has boasted openly about the number of ministers beholden to his interests in Canadian politics. Assuming there is truth to his boast, I do not think for one moment that an opportunist such as he, who once sold adherents to his religion out to World War 2 nazis, would see any problem in kicking these two ratbags to the kerb. Not when he has professed that fully two thirds of your parliament owe their political existence to the whims of the WEF.

I wonder how many of those are jockeying for position in Poilievre's incoming cabinet. The odds are good that the number is greater than zero and the biggest mistake will be allowing them any rein to carve up the country further to satisfy some globalist agenda at the expense of Canadian citizens.

Even the incompetent ones like Jo Jo. YHBW.
