Just as I suspected. the php conversion from Proboards to this format let this change of user group happen on new registrations because new registrations did not include a default member group to assign

Many many years ago before I became the model of civility and maturity that you have all grown to love and respect I too was mischievous. I used to change my handle and add a dot or an 0 instead of o to make it look like I hacked somebody's handle.

I only did that to white libtards so no harm done.

What I did not do was take screenshots of my farm league trolling like I created a piece of art and post it at other forums. It was not that good a decade ago. Today it is a cringey plea for attention.

I have no time for trolls flamers or whatever you want to call them. I WAS okay with Flynn because he/they stuck to their own lane. Unlike Joe or Edward Flynn(s) didn't try shitting up discussions. Flynn kept his school boy routine in his own threads.

The shoutbox issue wasn't a permissions or "hacking" thing... Flynn was simply changing their username to imitate other registered members usually by adding a period at the end (jack.) so at first glance it *looked* like Flynn had hijacked an account but that's not the case.

No accounts were accessed; it's a troll.

The dot at the end of the name is an old trick

kinda like a phishing campaign that would use Burger K1ng as the spelling with the 1 replacing the I.

I'm certain, all things considered, the highly esteemed internet hacker himself will pick up that misspelling quite quick considering the name shows up on every check he's cashed for like, the last 40 years.
