Quote from: DKG on July 19, 2025, 10:15:04 AMThe president of the iconic California hamburger company In-N-Out has announced for the first time that California's policies have driven her family to move to a red state.

Lynsi Snyder made the comments to Allie Beth Stuckey on the Blaze Media podcast "Relatable," which was published Friday. The company had previously announced that they were expanding into Tennessee, but Snyder went on to explain that her entire family had decided to move from California.

In-N-Out Burger leaving California... 30 years ago one would be branded a heretic for even speaking of such a thing. The burger that symbolized the cars, the palm trees, the beaches, the people of the Golden State... gone.

Never thought I would see the day

Like Illinois, its been a shithole state for 30+ years. I'm personally glad whenever anyone or anything flees Cali and Illinois. I hope both states fucking DIE, DIE, DIE!

We're going to Vegas next month. I'll eat at In-N-Out every day probably. FACT! Well, except when I eat at Weinerschnitzel.

When Gov. Gavin Newsom signed AB 1228, he actually signed the end of fast food in California as he knows it.

Proving conservatives right again, a newly released study conducted by the National Bureau of Economic Research shows that California experienced massive job loss since enacting a $20 minimum wage across the state.

AB 1228 was passed by the California assembly in September 2023, establishing the state's "Fast Food Council" to set and change the minimum wage — which was previously $16 an hour. The bill was signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom (D) in April 2024.

The fast-food industry lost 18,000 jobs since the minimum wage hike in April 2024.

This represents a 3.2% decline in that sector compared to others in different states.

Liberals like to say California has the fifth largest economy in the world.  But that's because of climate.  Not because of liberal policies.  Dumb libs.

It used to be an economic dynamo. But, like Canada it is deliberately killing what made it a success story and a draw for people willing to work hard and succeed.

Probably mentioned here before but JFK was conservative at least in certain aspects.

Think about it.

JFK said, "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country."

Libs today say the gov't needs to work better for us.  So they can't even see it's too big & bloated.  They can't see the gov't doing more for us vs us doing more for our country.
