 I'd rather see secular democracies with religious freedom than see totalitarian, brutal regimes.

 I strongly suspect the Isreal hate is the result of islamist propaganda. Because we have had an information war going on since 9/11.  Here in MI I know people who are from Isreal. They speak of their land with love and fondness and they visit regularly.

 I know people who fled Iran, and....what they say is terrifying  . They do not go back and visit.
