Im not an overly emotional individual... and I have a wide interest in music over several genres. I never listened to Placebo much in the 90's nor did I even realise that the lead singer, Brian Moloko, was androgynous. Not that I'm judgmental of Nancy boys or anything. It was simply because they reminded me of The Pet Shop Boys of the 80's that was flogged on the radio so much.

Having said that... Placebo has struck a chord with me on an emotional level like none other recently. The  guy, Brian Molko is a really good artist and song writer. I hope the up and coming 2026 album is just as good as the previous many albums produced.

Placebo do a few good covers too...

"life is what you make it" is a favourite of mine from the 80's band Talk Talk.

They've done a decent rendition of that gem in this video...
