 I think the disconnect here is instead of America first ....they are more isolationist.

 This confused me at first when they started complaining about bombing Iran saying "so much for America first!"....like...what?

 These people dont pay attention to geopolitical issues. America first means acting first and foremost for the benefit of America and our own people. And our interactions with the world definitely are in our favor if its done in the spirit of America first.

 Destroying the Islamic occupation in Iran IS beneficial to America AND the world. Its very America first to do this.
