Andrew Scheer said in an interview Tory internal polling shows they will win the most seats. If the party had elected a leader like Rona Ambrose or Brad Wall they would be looking at 200 seats.

Brad wall yeah a for sure, but rona......I always found her a bit flakey.



An active politician that would've rocked it as leader is Pierre Poilievre. He's a well spoken and intelligent guy that stumps the liberals in the house of commons. Lets just hope he throws his hat in the ring after scheer steps down.

Brad Wall was our premier. That guy is a gifted speaker. Rona not so much.



I am a fan of Pierre too. McKay will be the next leader of the party though.

The Trudeau—NDP coalition will run record-breaking deficits totalling more than $138 billion.



To pay just half of their deficits, the coalition would have to:



Raise the lowest personal income tax bracket from 15% to 19.5%

Raise the GST from 5% to 7.5%

Cut the Canada Health Transfer by 41%

Cut the Canada Social Transfer by 100%

I saw a Nanos poll for the Globe and Mail that showed the Tories down to 30 per cent, the Grits at 32 and Trudeau leading Scheer by eight points as the most preferred pm. I don't trust it, but it does show what a weak leader and his timid conservatism has squandered a golden opportunity.
