That was Ukrainian Airlines, which has a spotty safety record. Let's not jump to conclusions because Iran is being a pain.

I agree Thiel. At this point we can say no more than a very long shot coincidence. I see no reason Iran would do that intentionally



That said, Let's see if Iran gives boxes to Boeing etc. Refusal would be extremely suspicious pretty much to the point of being telling ...  a fuckup

Ukrainian Airlines accepted that mechanical failure was a likely cause. They did walk it back a bit.

I'm in shock right now. At least 27 people from this city died on that flight. I'm also very close to the local Iranian community through my friendship with former Iranian Heritage Society president, Payman Parseyan. I personally knew Dr Shekoufeh Choupannejad and her two beautiful daughters. RIP my friends.
