It is pretty quiet out this way too. The most excitement this neighbourhood saw was years ago when muslims tried to buy up all the businesses in Main Street, stick a muslim oriented educational facility in next to the local high school and a drug rehabilitation center a little further up the beaten track. To say the locals reacted poorly to the planned infrastructure modifications would be an understatement. Harsh Words were exchanged - someone even went as far as to stick a pig's head on a spike at the corner of the block where the new muslim school was supposed to be and many of the local muslim businesses went bankrupt through a sudden and unexplained boycotting of the stores they operated.



The muslims got the hint and went elsewhere. No businesses were looted, no houses were torched and the local police suffered an extreme absence of having their squad cars overturned. Sometimes it pays to be a little restrained and a hell of a lot smarter about making your discontent known... if you are tuly dinkum about the result you are chasing.
